The Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh has announced recruitment for 3,800 Gram Panchayat Sahayak (Village Development Officer) posts across all 75 districts of the state.
Total Vacancies: 3,800
Eligibility
- Education: Graduate in any discipline from recognized university
- Computer Knowledge: CCC certificate or equivalent mandatory
- Age: 21-40 years (relaxation as per UP govt rules)
- UPSSSC PET Score: Required (valid PET scorecard)
Pay Scale
₹20,000-62,000 per month (Level 3 equivalent) + Dearness Allowance + other benefits
Selection Process
- UPSSSC PET Score (qualifying)
- Written Examination (conducted by UPSSSC)
- Document Verification
- Final Merit List (district-wise)
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain records of Gram Panchayat
- Implement government schemes at village level
- Assist Gram Pradhan in development works
- Maintain birth/death registers
- Supervise MGNREGA works
