CAT 2026 is expected to be held in the last week of November 2026. IIM Indore is the organizing institute for CAT 2026.
CAT has 3 sections: VARC (24 questions), DILR (20 questions), QA (22 questions). Total 66 questions in 2 hours with +3/-1 marking for MCQs and no negative for TITA questions.
CAT score is valid for 1 year only. Candidates must appear every year for fresh admission cycles.
All 21 IIMs accept CAT scores for MBA/PGDM admissions. Over 1200 other B-schools also accept CAT scores.
TITA (Type In The Answer) questions require candidates to type the numerical answer. They carry +3 marks with no negative marking.
